In conjunction with the AWP conference, we’re excited to host six innovative debut fiction writers for a night of reading mayhem! William Giraldi will be reading from his novel, Busy Monsters; Flannery O’Connor Award winner Amina Gautier returns for another round of her debut, At-Risk; local author Christine Sneed presents her Grace Paley Prize winning collection, Portraits of a Few of the People I’ve Made Cry; Tom Williams reads from his comic novella, The Mimic’s Own Voice; Debra Brenegan explores the historical life of 19th century American writer Fanny Fern in Shame the Devil; and Phong Nguyen presents his Elixer Press Award winning work, Memory Sickness.
