On March 4, The Scooty & JoJo Show returns to their first home, Mary’s Attic in Andersonville, to host a one-night-only Scooty & JoJo benefit evening featuring the premiere of Rosemary Clooney’s Baby in concert reading.

Starring Scooty in the Ruth Gordon role, Alien Queen’s Ryan Lanning as Mia Farrow, Carpenters Halloween’s Libby Lane as John Cassavetes, and JoJo on piano, the show re-imagines the renowned Roman Polanski film of satanic conception as a musical filled with Rosemary Clooney tunes. The benefit evening includes a raffle and auction of ridiculous Scooty & JoJo fare, from show memorabilia to onstage appearance opportunities and tickets for upcoming events. Proceeds from the evening go toward Scooty & JoJo’s 2012 campaign to secure licensing rights for future growth of their distinctive creations.

The Scooty & JoJo Show launched its first season in Chicago in the fall of 2007 with Carpenters Halloween at Mary’s Attic. As the creative team of Scott Bradley and Jonny Stax, The Scooty & JoJo Show develops innovative entertainment to explore contemporary ideas on gender, sexuality and power. Show history includes their highly acclaimed genre-fused creations Alien Queen, Carpenters Halloween, Mollywood, Tran: The Atari Musical, The Scooty & JoJo Show Variety Hour, and Diva
