Local Twitter accounts are being hijacked to send direct messages to users purportedly warning them of someone saying ‘bad things’ about you.
Do not follow the link. The link is leading to a site that loads a program allowing this computer virus to spread.
The Bulldog first noticed the virus coming from the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce Twitter account last week. This week we received the same message from Paciuggo in Lincoln Square.
The chamber did not return calls about the matter.
