
Chicago Public Schools say they acted in the interest of protecting candidates privacy when they changed a policy of allowing access to nominating papers of persons seeking office in Local School Councils.
A second remapping proposal was submitted to the Chicago City Clerk Friday. The proposal is in opposition to a proposal submitted by about 16 aldermen on Thursday.
