To garner constituent feedback before the start of the legislative session in January, state Rep. Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) is hosting a “Coffee and Conversation” listening session on Thursday, January 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Next Door located at 659 West Diversey.
Feigenholtz continues to seek suggestions from constituents on how to reduce state spending while maintaining services for vulnerable residents. At Feigenholtz’s “Coffee and Conversation” listening sessions, individuals can ask questions and share their ideas on legislation.
“We are gearing up for what is sure to be a very tough legislative session with more painful budget cuts and difficult decisions to be made in the next few months,” Feigenholtz said. “It is crucial that residents and representatives continue to collaborate and work together towards these solutions.”
