John Fritchey is among six political, community and business leaders named to a joint city-county committee that will examine areas that the city and the county may be able to cooperate, it was announced today.
The committee, jointly named by Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle will seek cost savings and service improvements.
The committee is to report to Emanuel and Preckwinkle on their results in 45 days.
