Lane Tech was ranked 376th nationally by USNews, placing it 14th in the state among high schools, it was announced yesterday.
Joining Lane were 16 other Chicago Public Schools. Private schools were not ranked, nor were 95 CPS schools.
North Side Attendance area schools included Northside College Prep, Walter Payton, Lincoln Park High School, Von Stueben Metro Science, Lake View and Prosser.
Each of the schools operates as a CPS school. No charter schools ranked.
