Lincoln Square Lanes, one of the city’s remaining second floor bowling alleys, took to Facebook to dispel rumors the alley will close.
“You may have heard that LSL is closing. At this time that is NOT the case,” the post Tuesday said. “While the future of any business is uncertain in this economy, we hope to be here for a long time to come.”
“All parties involved would like to keep the tradition established in 1918 alive and well. Thank you for your support of the oldest operating bowling center in Chicago.”
