The State Column reports that following a Roll Call article that notes that Texas Congressman Ron Paul has double-billed for transportation, Ill. Congressman Mike Quigley has called for an investigation of Paul.
Paul, one of four persons competing for the Republican Party nomination for President, was reported to have billed both the tax payers and non profits for flights.
According to the Daily Caller “Liberty Committee President David James confronted Ron Paul staffers on the issue of double payements, and his reimbursements, combined with documents Roll Call obtained, “suggest Paul was aware that he was often being reimbursed twice for individual flights.”
